About Me

Having studied art from an early age, Jack developed his interest in photography when he was given an old 35mm Yashica by a friend, whilst living in Byron Bay, Australia. Armed with a pen and pad he taught himself the basic principals of photography by trial and error. With the persuit of photojournalism in mind, he has also developed his own sense of quirky, artistic photography, trying to leave the viewer a little bemused. 'I like to take ordinary subjects and shoot them in an extraordinary way, often detailing details that many others would not necessarily pick up on and therefore pass by, completely unaware.'
